Gryphon
Found as a fallen owlet, Gryphon imprinted not on his owl parents but on the Chihuahua of the family who first took him in. By the time wildlife rehabbers took over, return to the wild was no longer an option — so he joined us as an ambassador for his species.

Nirrti
Bred for the program to work alongside Lady Margaret, Nirrti is the next generation of our falconry show. Her early training was a collaboration between our Master Falconer and our youngest volunteer — a sixty-year tradition passed hand to hand.
Western Screech Owl · 8 years with us
Freyja
When wildfire-prevention crews trimmed her tree, Freyja went to battle with a chainsaw to defend her nest. She lost more than half of her right wing and sustained injuries to her eyes — and still raised her chicks herself before they were released to the wild. She has been with us ever since, named for the Norse goddess of war and motherhood.

For eight years Figgy has kept watch for drones and served as our official complaints department. Bring him a grievance, and he'll complain right back.

Goblin
A newer addition, Goblin came to us after a head injury whose cause we'll likely never know. The lasting neurological damage gave him a properly goblinesque look — and earned him a small cult of followers who turn up just to see him.
